I still have somewhat mixed feelings about the title—it feels too simple, etc.—but I have decided on a title.
I can now secure a domain and proceed with the website upgrades and edits that I’ve been trying to do. Thank you all for your patience and support in this, and I will try to get the website in its (hopefully) final form (aside from minor edits in the future) by the end of next month.
I will also use this opportunity to ask for prayer. School is starting back, but I am struggling to get back into the school routine. I am taking several dual-enrollment courses, normal high school courses, starting karate, teaching Algebra II at a co-op, running this website, working on weekends, etc, etc. I have a very full schedule, lots of decisions weighing on me, normal life problems, specific personal struggles, and even depression (unrelated to current life, but very much exacerbated by it), and I am completely overwhelmed by it all. There are days when I can list five different major tasks I need to work on, but all I want to do is go back to sleep, even though I’m not tired. So, without going further into details, I would like to ask for prayer that I would be able to deal with it all, and not just hide myself in books, naps, computer activities, and work, and that God would give me peace.
I recently got a really cool confirmation on my matter idea. A Korean family stayed at my house last week, and the dad was a theoretician. He teaches quantum physics at a university in South Korea, and was here on a research trip. I jumped at the chance to get an educated opinion on my ideas, and had him read my Ultramatter, Gravity Shield, and Matter ideas. He was ecstatic to find a student that actually cared about school, instead of just being in it for the grade and degree, and he gave me his email address so we could keep in touch and he could give his input on my other ideas as he reads them, but the most exciting part was his response to my matter idea. As soon as he read the main concept about matter being a vibration, he said, “How did you know…?”
Apparently, one of the main concepts of quantum physics is the idea that matter, in its most basic form, is a vibration. On the one hand it’s slightly disappointing that I did not think of it first, but on the other hand, this means I figured out quantum physics (or at least part of it), which, needless to say, is really encouraging. One of my ideas was actually correct, at least to an extent! The Korean dad pointed me to the Grand Unity Theory, which is one of various Unified Field Theories, which attempt to explain all aspects of the universe except for gravity in terms of one field. I tried to read up about it, but it required too much back knowledge and would have taken way too long to research about it, but apparently it theorizes that matter in its most basic form is a vibration. My theory would be a Theory of Everything, because it includes gravity in the things it explains in terms of one field, and Scientists are ultimately hoping to come up with a Theory of Everything, but so far the only theories that are deemed plausible have been Unified Field Theories.
Here are the titles I have come up with so far. Any one of them could probably be vastly improved along the same lines, but these are the main ideas, and the examples give you an idea of what I’m looking for. I’d prefer a reference to God being the reason for science, but I couldn’t find a quote that would work, and I couldn’t remember the ones I’ve seen in the past. Which would you like to see as my new title? Do you have suggestions of your own? I’ve added a poll at the end of this post whose results will weigh rather heavily in my decision.

I did no website work this month, but it was by no means an unproductive month. As some of you know, this was National Novel Writing Month, and Gabrielle at Write for the King used the month to go back over her novel and edit it. I am editing it for her, so this meant, in large part, incorporating my edits, but I had not finished them. So this month was spent exclusively on finishing the edits on her book. However, that has been the biggest competition for website work, so now that I am finished with that, I will have more time to devote to finishing this website. So here are my goals for this month:
Decide on a new website name
Purchase a domain in accordance with that name
Get the forum set up
I really can’t project much further. I won’t likely get much website work done, because school will be starting back, and I will be doing several dual enrollment courses, teaching, working, and a few normal homeschool courses, but I should be able to work with the person who is helping me with the website to at least learn how to operate it all better.
I have some website name ideas, and I will try to get a post out about that soon, and I would really appreciate any feedback you can give me. I hope to base it on a quote from a Christian scientist about the linkage between God and Science.
In the meantime, I will leave you with one of my favorite Smarter Every Day videos to chew on.
